If there was a theme linking every city on our itinerary it would be Patron Saints. St George has popped up on numerous occasions (we can confirm that the dragon is well and truly slain), as has Saint Antoine, being tempted in many countries. The latest addition would have to be the Patron Saint of Car Drivers, decorated largely with old road signs and signals.
