The Charles Bridge is rightly amongst Prague’s top attractions. Occupying a key axis between castle and town, it is a must-see for most visitors. The trouble is, much of the seeing is simultaneous, hence the rush hour seen here. For the sake of an early alarm, we virtually had the run of the place early in the morning, with only a few joggers for company.

Has the work on the bridge finished yet guys as when i was htere a few weeks back major reconstruction was going on?

There is still a fair bit at the city end, where they are re-laying the cobblestones. A few of the statues are also undergoing repair. But, as you stay, it is still an amazing sight.
