The Edifici Forum is one of several new buildings in the Diagonal Mar area of Barcelona. Whilst it is mainly used for exhibitions, it’s an interesting place – apparently the architect intended it to resemble a sponge with water running down the sides. Whatever the intent, it’s a refreshing change from the slab-sided sheds that dominate this type of building.
