Late every weekend evening, the fountains at the foot of Montjuic explode into life. Virtually unnoticed during the day, at night their centre stage place is assured, as they dance to patterns of light and music, enthralling the crowds that gather. The full show goes on for about fifteen minutes every half hour, and is genuinely impressive, drawing applause at the end of each section.
